Wesley Howell Of Martensdale Dies

Martensdale: Services were held Friday, June 8, at the Lutheran church here for Wesley Howell, whose death occurred Wednesday, June 6, at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines. He was 63 years of age.

Mr. Howell was engaged in farming activities in Madison and Warren counties. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Lanson Howell, he was born and spent his early life on a farm in Crawford township.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Howell; three daughters, Mrs. Phillip Duff of Earlham, Mrs. David Aldrich of Des Moines, and Mrs. Bevan Wilcox of Montezuma; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Erwin Howell of Patterson; Darwin Howell of Des Moines; Russell Howell of Vallejo, Calif., and Curtis Howell of Des Moines.
