Cedar Falls - Floyd B. Bunnell, 96, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Jan. 30, at Sartori Memorial hospital from complications of pneumonia. He was born June 27, 1901, in Jesup, son of Bert B. and Grace Standish Bunnell. He married Alma Boyce on June 14, 1928, in Winterset.

Mr. Bunnell graduated from Iowa State University in 1927. He farmed in Madison County from 1929 until 1941, then in the Cedar Falls area from 1941 to 1955. From 1955 until retiring in 1969 he had been employed by Sartori Memorial hospital maintenance department.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Mary Grace Faye of LaMirada, Calif, and Alice V. Janssen of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sarah B. Laird of La Verne, Calif. Preceded in death by: an infant sister; and two brothers, Miles and Clarence.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, with private burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials: may be directed to the church.
