Thirty Years Ago (September 23, 1882)

Little Fay Danforth, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Challen Danforth, died last Thursday morning. The death of their two youngest children within a week is certainly a stroke of affliction hard to hear, and the mourning parents have the sympathy of the community.

Transcriber note: Newspapers for 1881 and 1882 have not been made available for microfilming and/or digitizing. However, for many years the Madisonian ran weekly features of stories and news items that happened 10, 20, 30, and 40 years previously. On occasion, this included mentions of deaths.
