Robert (Bob) LaFratte

Robert LaFratte (Bob) of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Nov. 2, 2022, after battling cancer. Bob has been cremated and in lieu of funeral services a Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at Bradley’s Pub (1300 50th St., West Des Moines), 12 p.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022.

Bob was born Oct. 5, 1960, in Winterset, Iowa, to Darlene and Anthony LaFratte. Bob owned LaFratte Construction for 40 years and was well known for being a boxing Judge for over 30 years. Bob enjoyed Corvettes, motorcycles, riding the rodeo when younger, telling jokes and yes … The Bob and Tom show.

He is survived by his wife, Vet of 28 years; sisters, Jane (Sid) Klug, Patty and Angie; brother, John; father-in-law, David Harsha; and many nieces and nephews.
