W. F. Law who has resided here the past eighteen or twenty years was found dead near his son’s at Fort Des Moines last Thursday. He was visiting his son, Homer, at the Fort and on Thursday morning decided to go to Des Moines, and started to the street car station three-fourths mile, but evidently did not reach it, as a neighbor found him about 4:30, less than one-fourth mile from where he had started from his son’s about 9:30 in the morning. He has been in poor health for years.
He was buried at Indianola Saturday.
