Thomas McKeon, an old and respected resident of Lee township, died on Saturday, May 25, of cancer, after a long and painful illness.
______________________Transcriber's note: "McKeon" is on his gravestone but all of his Madison County censuses except 1885 erroneously listed him as "McCune". Their son, James, ultimately adopted the spelling "McCune".
