COUNTY NEWS – Crawford

James Melroy, who was brought up here, but who has lived for several years near Norton, Kansas, was killed by lightning on his farm in Kansas on Thursday of last week. His mother, Mrs. Margaret Melroy, his sister, Nora, and brother, Mike, left here on Friday to attend his funeral which was to take place on Sunday.
