ROBERT HELTON.

Robert Helton, 35 years old, 1908 North Linden avenue, district manager of the Kraft-Phoenix Cheese Corporation, died of peritonitis yesterday in the Methodist hospital, following an operation for appendicitis.

The body will be taken to Des Moines, Ia. tonight for services and burial. Friends will be received at the Shirley Bros. chapel, 946 North Illinois street, from noon until 4 o’clock this afternoon.

Mr. Helton was born in Cairo, III. He served in the 74th company, 6th regiment United States Marine Corps., during the world war and spent six months in France.

He entered the employ of the Kraft corporation after the war. He was stationed in Des Moines for a time and was transferred to Indianapolis a year ago. He was a member of the Masonic order.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. LaDenna Helton; an infant son, Robert Carroll Helton, the mother, Mrs. Charles Berry of Portageville, Mo., and a brother, C. A. Helton of Kansas City, Mo.
