Rusty was born December 22, 1960 to Russell and Vera (Petty) Boggs in Leon, Iowa. He was very active in his congregation as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he served as a caring and thoughtful minister. He was a successful Farm Bureau Agent for many years who also had a lifelong passion for farming. He knew no strangers and loved talking to everyone he met and he always had their best interest at heart. He was always looking to help somebody and utilized many connections to help them succeed in whatever endeavor they were tackling.

He loved music, traveling, and was a Green Bay Packers fan. He was known for his ‘great taste’ in many things particularly when it came to food. He was a true foodie whether it came to simply enjoying a fine meal or preparing one. He was an all -around lovable person and was truly the best Husband, Dad, Papa, Uncle, and friend you could ever ask for. He will always be remembered by his generous and big heart.

He is survived by his wife, Diana ‘Jo’ Boggs; son, Jason (Tricia) Boggs; grandchildren, Grady and Izzy Boggs; mother, Vera Belle Boggs; sister, Melodie (Rick) Eddy and their children, Brandon Williams and Ricquel (Eliott) Milakovich; and other loving relatives and many special friends.

Rusty was preceded in death by his father, Russell Boggs and his sister, Tiffany Boggs.
