Miss Katherine Padden, a former resident of this place, recently of Des Moines, died in that place last week of cancer of the stomach.

Obituary

Miss Katherine Padden died at her home, 807 Southeast Murray street this morning. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o’clock from the Church of Visitation. The family requests no flowers.

Transcriber's note: The deceased appeared in the 1880 census of Crawford Township. She was buried in the St. Ambrose Cemetery in Des Moines per a notice in the Des Moines Tribune.
