West Des Moines - Dorine E Hinchey, 89, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at ManorCare Health Services in West Des Moines, IA. At this time no services will be held.

Dorine was born November 29, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, to Wilfred and Hilda (Simon) Rink. In the 1970s, she moved to Winterset where she resided for many years. Later, she moved to Windsor Heights. She married Michael Hinchey on August 5,1955.

Dorine worked as an Executive Secretary for many years. She liked to crochet and knit, making potholders and other useful items. She also loved to garden and had a two acre garden at the Winterset home.

Dorine is survived by her niece, Debee (Mike) Gumsey, Timothy J. Hinchey of Waukesha, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hinchey and her parents.
