Helen Anna Peterson Salisbury, 72, of Ames died of cancer Monday at Grand Avenue Care Center. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Calvary United Methodist Church, with burial in Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Salisbury was born in Barney and lived in Ames 50 years, coming from the Nevada and Shipley areas. She retired as a laboratory technician for the National Animal Disease Center.

Among survivors are a son, Richard of Ames; a sister, Esther Jones of Seattle; two brothers, Howard Peterson of Boone and Robert Peterson of Ames; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Adams Funeral Home.
