Rites to Be Held at Funeral Chapel
Lloyd E. Norris, 64, of 543 20th S. E., died at an Iowa City hospital Tuesday, following a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Mason City for the past 12 years.
Mr. Norris was born Oct. 17, 1884, at Rose Hill, Iowa. He came to Mason City from Earlham, Iowa, when he retired from farming. He was a member of the Weslev Methodist church of Mason City.
Surviving are his wife, Rose, a daughter, Marylin Norris, Mason City, 3 sons, Earl and Charles Norris, Mason City, and Virgil Norris, Dows, a sister, Mrs. Lena Hadley, Des Moines, and a brother, John C. Norris, Clear Lake.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the Major Memorial chapel, with Doctor Paul A. Peterson, pastor of Wesley Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood cemetery. The Major funeral home in charge.
