Robert, the eight months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Purscell died at their home in the south part of town Thursday morning after a lingering illness. The child had not been strong since birth.

The funeral services were held Friday at 4 p.m. at the home conducted by Rev. Mr. ReQua and burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.

The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Purcell, whose illness from diphtheria was reported in this paper last week, died on Saturday morning.

The case was one in which the disease, diphtheria was in aggravated form and refused to yield to medical treatment.

The only other case, that of the Banks child gives promise of ------ recovery.
