Obituary - Eliza Jennie Spencer

Eliza Jennie Spencer was born in Pennsylvania on August 12, 1847, and died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Huston August 2nd, at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 21 days. She was married to W. D. Spencer. To this union was born a son who died in childhood. The husband also died a little over a year ago.

Mrs. Spencer, with her husband, moved to Iowa in 1870 and went to Pennsylvania in 1881 and in 1890, they again came west to Nebraska, where the husband died.

She united with the M. E. church when a girl and remained a faithful member until her death.

The funeral was from the Huston home August 3rd, conducted by Rev. Mr. ReQua and interment was made in the Macksburg cemetery.
