Etna Smith, aged seventeen, died at his home in Winterset on the 27th after a prolonged illness resulting from a serious injury he received some years ago. His father Jas. T. Smith was killed by accident in South Dakota last October which makes the bereavement doubly sad to the mother, brothers and sisters.

Transcriber’s note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
