Light at Last.—On Tuesday, the 26th inst., Charles Salyer, of Union township, peacefully took his departure to that bourne from which no traveler returns. Mr. Salyer was a kind father, a loving husband, a faithful friend, a devoted Christian.

For many long years he has been totally blind, but he bore his affliction with cheerful resignation, looking forward to the time when his eyesight should be renewed in the land where there is no sun yet no darkness. Where the joy and blessedness, shall more than compensate for the trials and troubles of this life.
