Services for John G. Parker, 77, of 208 S. E. Dunham Ave., who died of a heart ailment Thursday at home, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Berwick cemetery.

Mr. Parker was born in Madison County and lived in Des Moines the past 35 years. He was a retired employee of Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. and a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby, a daughter, Clara Day of Des Moines; a sister, Wilma McDonald of Winterset; two brothers, Raymond and Glenn, both of Winterset; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
