Shirley Ann Tuttle

Shirley Ann Tuttle, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Saturday, March 6, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Inurnment of cremains will be in the Winterset Cemetery.

Shirley had a zest for life and never believed in acting your age or having too many friends. She believed in doing things that bring happiness: dancing, music, owning red cars and enjoying the outdoors. What made her most happy was her love of family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Dawn Mefferd and Vicki (Steve) Sallman; step-children, Randy Tuttle and Kelli (Marty) Mahlow; grandchildren, Lindsay Sly, Sarah and Sally Sallman; step-grandchildren, Cody Tuttle, Mallory and Mason Mahlow; great-grandchild, Hayden Sly; siblings, Donald Hughes, Donna Willis, and Carolyn Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband William Tuttle; parents, Kenneth and Olive Hughes; siblings, Dale Hughes, Charles Hughes and Phyllis Hughes.

Memorials may be given to the Croatian Center 6575 Indianola Ave. Des Moines, IA 50320.
