The remains were brought to Truro and interred in the cemetery southwest of town the following day. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the grief stricken parents and the lonely little brother.

Page 4Obituary – Velma Bradshaw, aged 5 years, 1 month and 17 days, daughter of W. A. and Nancy Bradshaw, died of membranous croup, Dec. 28th. The death of little Velma which was so sudden brought sadness to many hearts as all had learned to love her. While it is very sad to say goodbye to her, we can take great comfort in the thought that it will not be long until we will receive the happy greeting of our loved ones who have joined the angels above and are waiting for us.
Poem follows.
