A resident of Madison County for three years, Richard George Bock, 83, died Friday, November 7, 1975 at Veteran’s Hospital in Des Moines. He was a residence of St. Charles.
Mr. Bock was born August 16, 1893 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of William H. Bock. He was married to Arnetha Houston on June 13, 1946 in Chicago. An industrial engineer by profession, Mr. Bock was also a life member of the Arcana Lodge and the Medinah Temple in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Arnetha, a son, John David Bock of Burbank, California, and three sisters, Gwendlyn Schuman from Minnesota, Gladys Bock, Chicago, and Laura Walsh of Indiana.
Funeral services for Richard George Bock were conducted Monday, November 10, 1975 at 10 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, Rev. Eldon Ringle presiding. Burial was made at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Mary’s, Iowa.
