Services for Michael D. Gallagher, 85, of Churchville will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Assumption at Churchville. Burial for Mr. Gallagher, who died at Indianola Tuesday of a heart ailment, will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in the Irish Settlement.

Mr. Gallagher, a retired farmer, was a lifelong Churchville resident and a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors include three brothers, William D. of Des Moines, J. J. of Long Beach, Calif., and Frank G. of Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hall of Des Moines, and Mrs. Catherine Gavin of Sun City, Calif.

A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home.
