Services for Thomas J. Eagan, 84, of St. Patrick’s Irish Settlement south of Norwalk, died Thursday at Veterans Hospital of cancer, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of the Irish Settlement with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Mr. Eagan lived in West Des Moines most of his life, moving six years ago to the Irish Settlement. He was employed as a laborer, and was a charter member of both the Moose Lodge and Post 620 of the American Legion of West Des Moines. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include a brother, Lawrence of Murray and a sister, Mrs. Adolph Stephen of Lakeside, Mont.

The rosary will be recited at 7:30 o’clock tonight at Gallaway-McLaren Funeral Home in Norwalk.
