Dallas Center, IowaAudrey N. Nissly Irving, 87, passed away November 10, 2020 at the Stuart Care Center in Stuart, Iowa. Private graveside services will be held at 1pm, Friday, November, 13, 2020 at Brethren Cemetery, Dallas Center, Iowa.
Audrey was born August 21, 1933 in Dallas Center the daughter of Charlie and Alma (Good) Nissly. She attended Sugar Grove country school. On August 17, 1949 she was united in marriage to Carl Irving. She worked as a part-time waitress and a homemaker.
One of Audrey’s hobbies, that she loved the most was raising canaries and other cage birds. This hobby quickly turned into a business supplying Earl May and other pet stores. A hobby that brought much joy and she was able to interact with many people.
Audrey is survived by her son, L. Michael (Dorthy) Irving of Adel and their children, Stacey (Jeff) Boston of Earlham, Iowa, Brenda Haskins of Ankeny, Iowa, Troy Irving of Adel and Stefanie (Mark) Scott of Santa Barbara, California; her daughter, Pamela Crystine Fagen of Earlham and her children, Tammy (Paul) Bushong of Winterset and Tom (Pam) Fagen of Earlham; 17 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl and her sister, Opal Kuehl.
