Mrs. Anna Jean Ragan, 49, of 113 S.E. Thirty-fourth St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at her home following an eight-year illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial in Montpelier Cemetery at Patterson.

Mrs. Ragan was born in Patterson and lived in Des Moines most of her life.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence; three sons, Merle William and Frank Howard, both of Des Moines, and Ronald, serving with the U.S. Navy; her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Smith of Des Moines, and a grandchild.
