Services for Mrs. Fern Hague Spratt, 63, of 1325 Sixth Ave. will be at noon Saturday at McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel, 801 Nineteenth St., West Des Moines. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery in Booneville.

Mrs. Spratt died of cancer Thursday at Medicenter of America, 233 University Ave., after a long illness.

Born in Earlham, Mrs. Spratt lived in West Des Moines before moving to Des Moines 21 years ago. She retired in 1977 from Broadlawns Polk County Hospital as a nurses aide.

Survivors include a son, Richard Daugherty of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. E. Jean Dunagan of Des Moines and Mrs. Mary Fuss of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, Don Hague of Waukee and Kenneth Hague of Pawhuska, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Robison of Waukee and Mrs. Maxine Fidler of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
