Page 11c, Column 1Mrs. Beth M. Riser, 61 a member of the Child Study Institute at Bryn Mawr College, died yesterday in Lankenau Hospital. She lived at 2212 N. Stone Ridge Lane, Villanova.
Mrs. Riser held degrees from Northwestern University and Bryn Mawr College. She specialized in children’s learning disabilities at the institute.
She was the former personnel director at the Purity Bakery in Chicago, a former member of the faculty at Iowa State University and a partner in the Riser Animal Hospital, Skokie, Ill.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Wayne H. Riser, professor of veterinary pathology at the University of Pennsylvania, and a brother, Thomas J. McGauley.
Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in St. Thomas’ Church, Villanova.
