Theodore G. Ladd

Old citizens of the county will remember Theo G. Ladd, who formerly lived here. The notice is taken from an Idaho paper.

On Friday, January 31, occurred the death of Theodore G. Ladd at the home of his son, Ralph, six miles east of Idaho Falls.

Mr. Ladd had been in failing health for a number of years which increased with recurrent intensity. Only a few days before his death he returned from Missouri where he had a nervous break down and was hurried home by his doctor.

His old home was near Winterset, Madison county, Iowa, where he was a very successful farmer and stock man. From Iowa he moved to Panhandle, Texas, and from there to Idaho, where he owned a farm in the Iona district.

He leaves a wife and one son, Ralph, of Iona, and one daughter, Mrs. Geo. LeChimenant, of Idaho Falls, also two sisters in Colorado, one brother in Iowa and one brother in Missouri.

The funeral services were held at the parlors of the Idaho Falls Undertaking Co., under the direction of Bishop Barlow, of Iowa.
