Services for Cecil C. Ryner, 52, of 704 E. Madison ave., will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at McLaren Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Ryner suffered a heart attack Sunday and was dead on arrival at College Hospital. Born in Winterset, he was a Des Moines resident six years, formerly living in West Des Moines. He was a switchman for the Rock Island Railroad 22 years.
Mr. Ryner was a member of Gnemeth Masonic Lodge, the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, and Brotherhood of Railway Switchmen.
Surviving are his widow Ivadelle; a daughter, Mrs. Glennda Otto of Des Moines; his mother, Mrs. Mabel Lawrenz of West Des Moines; two half-brothers, Walter Lawrenz of Des Moines and William Lawrenz of West Des Moines.
