Services for Mrs. Clyde Reed, 72, of 1537½ Army Post Road will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Reed died of cancer Tuesday at the Medicenter of America. 233 University Ave. after a five-year illness.

She was born in Winterset and lived 21 years in Des Moines. She was a member of the Highland Park Open Bible Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jack Harris and Paul Reed, both of Des Moines, and Glen Reed of Winterset; two brothers, Emmet Huss and Glenn Huss, both of Des Moines; six sisters, Mrs. Nola Hilderbrand and Mrs. Vergie Mapes, both of Winterset, Mrs. Marjorie Oglesbee of St. Charles, Mrs. Gladys Kirett of New Market, Tenn., Mrs. Glade Palmer, living in California. and Mrs. Phyllis Clausen of Omaha; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
