With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael L. Schneider (Winterset, Iowa), born in Pleasantville, Iowa, who passed away on May 29, 2020 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Schneider and Louise Schneider; his brother Nicholas Schneider; and his niece Sarah Conkel. He is survived by : his brothers, Ted Schneider (Rita) of Wever, IA, Dan Schneider (Leanne) of Marshalltown and Chris Schneider (Molly) of Indianola; and his sister-in-law Betsy Schneider. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; fifteen great nieces and nephews; and two great- great nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 1st 2020 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Melcher (803 Garfield St, Melcher-Dallas, IA 50163). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Social distancing and Covid-19 restrictions will apply.
