Death of Mrs. B. E. S. Ely

Mrs. B. E. S. Ely died October 5, at the home of her son, Dr. Frank Ely, in Des Moines. Mrs. Ely was the wife of Dr. B. E. S. Ely, for a number of years pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Winterset. Dr. Ely was popular in Winterset as was Mrs. Ely and their son, Frank.

Dr. Ely retired from the ministry a short time after leaving Winterset and after his death Mrs. Ely made her home with her son in Des Moines.
