Dennis, Vancouver; 2 brothers, John, Albany, Oregon; Lloyd, Portland, Oregon; 2 sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Snarr, Corvallis, Oregon; Mrs. Mayme Moyer, Portland, Oregon; 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service Monday, December 31, at 3 p.m., in the Chapel of Chimes, Harron Bros. Ltd., 10th Ave. and Ontario St., Rev L. H. Maigaard officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Funeral will be held Monday for the father of Vancouver businessman Wilfred "Buster" Clearwater.
Bert Clearwater, 85, who retired to the city 10 years ago, died In Vancouver General Hospital,
His son is owner of Buster’s Towing Service, 376 East Hastings.
Mr. Clearwater was engaged in road construction on the Prairies before retiring. He lived at 121 West King Edward.
Surviving, besides "Buster" are two sons, Lloyd Glenn. Rainy River, Ont.; Oren Harold, Sask.; four daughters, Mrs. G. H. Dennis, Vancouver; Mrs. K. Arrand, Cardo. Sask.; Mrs. G Hennigman and Mrs. E. McPhee, Saskatoon; two brothers. John, Albany, New York [Oregon]; Cloyd, Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Snarr, Corvallis, Oregon; Mrs. Mayme Moyer, Portland; 24 grandchildren. 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by Rev. L. H. Maigaard from Harron Bros, chapel at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.

Page 19, Column 2CLEARWATER – LAST RITES WERE held in Vancouver December 31 at the Chapel of Chimes for Mr. Bert Clearwater who passed away December 25 at the age of 85. The late Bert Clearwater came to Saskatoon in 1912 operating the city water works, later farming a number of years at Cory, Sask. He retired in 1942 to Vancouver until his death.
He is survived by his widow Lydia Ellen, three sons, Lloyd Glenn of Rainy River, Ont., Oren Harold, Florida, and N. A. Clearwater of Vancouver; (an older son predeceased him in May of this year) also four daughters, Mrs. George Hennigman of Saskatoon, Mrs. Ken Arrand of Cando, Sask., Mrs. Earl McPhee of Saskatoon and Mrs. George Dennis of Vancouver; also two brothers and two sisters in Portland, Oregon; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
