Thomas M. Duff, 79, of 3315 S.W. Twelfth Place died of a heart ailment Wednesday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Cathedral with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery.
Born in Bevington, Mr. Duff lived in Des Moines 62 years and was a retired Super Valu Stores truck dispatcher. He was a member of St Ambrose Cathedral parish.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys; a daughter, Sherry Samuelson of Des Moines; two sons, Jerry of Des Moines and Terry of Marshalltown; two brothers, Woodrow and Ralph, both of Des Moines; a sister, Ruth Rissman of Des Moines; seven grandchilden and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Central Iowa Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Caldwell-Brien-Robbins Funeral Home.
