Mrs, John Roach, jr., died at her home in West Des Moines Wednesday of last week, following several months of ill health. Mr. and Mrs. Roach were residents of Lee township until last spring when they made a trip to the west for Mrs. Roach’s health. Upon their return to Iowa they located in West Des Moines where their children attend high school.
Mrs. roach is survived by her husband, J. A. Roach, jr.; two daughters, Mary Ellen and Audrey and one son Alvin and a host of other relatives and friends. One son, Thayer, died in 1933.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in Cumming, Ia.
________________________Coordinator's note: The Roach family lived in Lee Township, Madison County from 1919 to 1930 per children's birth records and census records. Deceased's maiden name taken from her Iowa Death Certificate.
