Winifred B. Howe, 88, died Monday, July 30, 2007 at Park Ridge Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 1st at Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.

Winifred was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; granddaughter, three sisters; two brothers as well as her parents. She is survived by her sons, Leo (Patricia) and Dale (Joy); brother, Dewitt McVey; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Note: Born in 1919 per Madison County Birth Records.
