Page 1, Column 3MRS. MATTIE PRICE DIES IN NEW YORK
Mrs. Mattie Price, widow of Richard Price, died Friday in Mount Vernon, New York, at the home of her son, Paul Price. Mrs. Price had made her home with her son several years. She had been ill but a short time. Interment was made in Kensico cemetery at White Plains, New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Price were residents of Winterset many years where Mr. Price had been a partner in the lumber firm of Strong & Price. After his death, Mrs. Price continued to live in Winterset in the home on East Court Ave. which at the time was one of the fine residences of the town.
News of her death was received by telegram from her son to ---- ----kins.
