JOHN ARTHUR ROACH

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McLaren’s Funeral Chapel in West Des Moines for John Arthur Roach, 80, of the Good Samaritan Center in Indianola, who died Sunday of a heart attack at home. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Orillia.

Born in Cumming, Mr. Roach lived there all his life before moving to Indianola a year ago. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a son, John Alvin of Carlisle; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Jagerson and Mrs. Audrey Beverly Beveridge, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Dippold and Mrs. Alice McAllister, both of Booneville; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
