Keith Davis of Adel was 42 years of age when he died at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Sunday, February 3, 1980.

Keith was born to Frank and Pauline Davis in Winterset, Iowa, September 13, 1937. His schooling was received in the Decatur and Leon, Iowa schools.

September 16, 1956, he was united in marriage to Anna Lou Vanderpool. The have made their home in Adel the past 18 years.

Keith was employed by the H. M. Iltis Lumber Co. of Des Moines as a truck driver. He was a member of the Adel Commercial Bowling League and played in a local bluegrass band, “The Tune-By-Fours”. He was a member of the Adel United Methodist Church.

Keith is survived by his wife, Anna Lou, of Adel and daughters, Vicky (Mrs. Chuck) Wolfe of Grimes, Cindy, Julie, Paula and Susan of Adel; sister, Wanda and her husband Loren Cox of Montezuma, Iowa and brother-in-law, Dick Vanderpool and his wife, Kathy of Baxter, Iowa and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Services under the direction of the Chamberlain-Fisher Funeral Home of Adel were held Tuesday, February 5, 1980 at 2:00 p.m. at the Adel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Paul I. Nelson officiated. Interment was at North McDonald Cemetery, rural Winterset.
