Margaret A. Stout

Margaret Ann Stout, daughter of Heron and Elizabeth Seymour, born at Meadville, Pennsylvania, August 21, 1856, departed from life at her home in Union township, Madison county, Iowa, February 6, 1926, age 69 years, 5 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Elvis Stout December 24, 1889, who preceded her in death September 4, 1908.

She is survived by five sons, Harvey of Des Moines; Rufus F. of the U. S. navy; Otho D. and Lyton at home, and Elvis of Winterset. Also, one sister, two brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was united with the United Brethren church in early life.

The funeral service was held at the home, conducted by Rev. T. E. Spurling, Monday, February 8, at 2 p. m. Interment was made in the McGinnis cemetery.
