Mrs. Millie Belle Palmer of Des Moines passed away Wednesday. The body was brought to the Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter and funeral services were held at the funeral home Sunday afternoon, Dec. 13.

Interment was at the Fairview Cemetery south of DeSoto.

Mrs. Palmer, 81, was the widow of Sam Palmer, who passed away some time ago.

She is a sister-in-law of Lee Palmer of DeSoto. Lee and his grandson, Dale Palmer, helped Fishers with the arrangements for the rites and were in attendance at the rites as was also Mrs. Lee Palmer.
