The following relatives attended the funeral and burial of Mignon Palmer at Fairview: Mrs. Melissa Finney and son Lloyd of Peru; Mr. and Mrs. Carey Palmer, Mrs. John Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Palmer, Mrs. Hullas Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wright and Mrs. Nettie Palmer all of Winterset; Mrs. Ollie Palmer and Geneva and William of Earlham; Charlie Stewart and daughter of Des Moines.

Mignon Palmer, daughter of Sam and Bell Palmer, was a granddaughter of the late Henry Palmer who lived for many years near DeSoto. Miss Palmer used to be in the hotel business in Earlham before moving to Des Moines where she passed away following several years illness.
