Mrs. Ella Meade, 72, of 229 fourth st., West Des Moines, died Tuesday at New Haven Rest Home 5608 S. W. Ninth st., after an illness of a month.
Mrs. Meade, a resident of the Des Moines area 20 years was member of Regina Guild of Sacred Heart Chruch, The Friendship Club and Bishop Drumm Home Guild.
Services will be at 8 a. m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, with burial at 2 p. m. Thursday at Cosgrove. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. today at Conley Funeral Home.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Don Blackman and Mrs. Albert Bell of Des Moines; and Mrs. Bruce Boucher of Elm Grove Wis.; three sons, John of Kansas City, Mo., Joseph of Detroit, Mich., and the Rev. Denis Meade of Atchinson, Kan.; two step-daughters, Sister Mirian of Bettendorf and Mrs. Willard Cummings of Oelwein; a sister, Genevieve Flannery of Oxford; a brother James Flannery of Iowa City, and 22 grandchildren.
