Mary Francine Hoyt, 79, of Nevada died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, from pneumonia at Story County Long-term Care in Nevada.

Hoyt was born Nov. 7, 1919, in Maxburg to Richard and Sylvia (McClaren) Griswold.

She married Dale Hoyt on Jan. 16, 1938, in Des Moines. Hoyt was a homemaker and also worked as a home health aid and also volunteered for 20 years delivering Meals on Wheels. She was a member of the Nevada Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Delores Martinez of Rush City, Minn.; a son, Fred Hoyt of Denver, Colo., and three sisters, Reva Forde of Prairie Village, Kan., Cletus Cole of Missoula, Mont., and Veda Pullen of Newbury Park, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, the Rev. David Lincoln officiating. Burial was at Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Voice of Prophecy Broadcast.

Arrangements were made by the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.
