Phyllis Howell, 75, of Plymouth Place, 4111 Ingersoll Ave., died of a heart attack Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dunn's Funeral Home.

Born in Patterson, Mrs. Howell had lived in Des Moines more than 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Windsor Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory of Des Moines and Stephen of the Marshall Islands; a daughter, Char Oldt of West Des Moines; two sisters, Edna Taylor of Winterset and Maxine Thompson of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth Place.
