MACKSBURG

Lafe Canning, who suffered a stroke of paralysis about seven weeks ago was the victim of a second stroke Tuesday evening and passed away at 8 o’clock Friday morning. Mr. canning had made marked improvement after the first stroke and the family was encouraged by the hope that in time he would completely recover.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon.
