Armadine Canning was born July 13th, 1913, 3 ˝ miles south of Macksburg, Iowa. Died September 19th, 1916 at her home in Macksburg, age 3 years, 2 months, and 6 days, she leaves to mourn her loss a mother Jennie L. and a sister Louisa. Her papa Lafayette Canning has gone on before, who died on July 24th, 1914.
She was a patient sufferer from infancy until death came. She had a bright and cheerful disposition which won her hosts of friends, both old and young, who were glad to assist her when ever possible, and all mourn her death. Let the sorrowing mother and sister be comforted with the thought that dear Armadine, is now at rest in heaven, with the Angels, she was surely a Sunbeam, and it was her favorite song “Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.”
