Timothy Lee Mundell, son of Dwight Mundell and Beulah (Duling) Mundell was born June 6, 1950 and passed from this life Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at 69 years of age.

Tim grew up in Winterset and graduated from Winterset High School, he went on to Simpson University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science. He was blessed with two children, Haley and Spencer. Tim has worked for Wells Fargo as a managing computer analyst. He has lived in Winterset all his life.

Tim was an avid reader, he enjoyed hunting and playing bridge. He loved playing golf and was very involved at Lake View Country Club.

Those relatives who preceded Tim in death were his father, Dwight Mundell, mother, Beulah Mundell, brother, Mike Mundell.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Haley Scott of Winterset, IA, son, Spencer Melchert of Joplin, MO, granddaughter, Darian (Nick) McDonald of Des Moines, IA, granddaughter, Amara Scott of Winterset, IA, nephew, Ike Mundell of Des Moines, IA, niece, Sarah (Rick) Esplin of Alaska, step-mother, Mary Mundell of Winterset, IA as well as other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019, 6:00 p.m. at the Sports Page in Winterset, Iowa.

Cremation was entrusted to Kale Funeral home in Osceola and Truro.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute to be decided later.
