Page 4B, Column 2Terri Ann Kelly, 44 of DeSoto died of cancer Dec. 2, 2000 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset with the Rev. Bill Jacobs officiating. Burial will be private.
Terri Kelly was born Sept. 27, 1956, on the Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Neb., to Duane and Carolyn (Hardin) Gilleland. Her marriage to John R. Kelly took place Feb. 6, 1993, in Pleasant Hill. A homemaker, Terri had previously worked for Standard Register in Des Moines. She also had been a member of the DeSoto Lions Club.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter Laura Megan Kelly at home; her parents of Winterset; a sister, Christina Scheffers (husband Jim) of Winterset; three brothers, Dennis Gilleland of Oklahoma City, Okla., Randal Gilleland wife Marti) of Cedar Rapids and Duane Gilleland Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a grandmother, Lois Hardin of Indianola.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a trust, which will be established for her daughter.
