Patrol Bomber Pilot Had Been in Philippines About Two Weeks
Lieut. (j.g.) Dean Martin of the U. S. Naval Air Corps is missing in action against the Japanese in the Pacific, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Martin of Winterset.
No further information was available here this week as to the time or place. Lieutenant Martin was serving as a pilot on a navy patrol bomber, and was last known to have been in the Philippines area. He went overseas last December, and had been in the Philippines about two weeks.
